Just got back from the DC event...or I should say DC suburb event since it was out in the boondocks of Reston, Virginia. Anyway, lots of good games were there and I'm not sure I can talk about all of them. Track and Field brought back some great memories of blisters and sore thumbs from the NES days. I can also say that I probably have the first injury from Track and Field...a blister on my index finger. You can run in the game by repeatedly pressing the a button or using the left analog stick and moving it back and forth. I can also safely bet that there will be many broken controllers and calls to support. I wonder if Konami will get a kick back.

I also played Project Sylphid. Let's say that there's a lot going on with the game. If you like Wing Commander this is a game for you, otherwise...I don't know.

Next up was Tenchu Z. The controls are a bit out of whack, at least for me. The movement of the camera seems just a bit off from intuitive. I diead a lot, so maybe it just takes practice. The graphics look better than what I saw at the MVP summit.

There was also a very nice looking game, but I'm not sure I can mention it. My kids liked it.

Finally, it was nice to see Tony, Chris, and John again.  Somehow, Sara didn't want to visit Northern Virginia.

Just received Forza 2 in the mail today, got to pick my car...Mazda RX-7 and that was it.

My 360 got the 3 red lights.  Tried all the work arounds and it's dead.  Since I don't believe in wasting money on an extended warranty, I'll either be out $130 or $399-$479.  This is my first experience with a dead console and I can say that I'm not very happy about it.
